In reply to Laura. Not really. I like an aisle and Jerry's likes the window. About 65% of the time, the middle seat winds up empty. This lovely young man offered but neither of us wanted the middle :-)

So, if I follow, you booked your seats one apart in an attempt to get extra room, if no one booked the middle seat? Did the guy in the middle offer to switch seats with you or Jerry?

First of all, welcome back! Second, when I began reading this I thought the entire flight experience would be bad…but as I read thorough, it just kept getting better and better. Glad it ended on a better note than how it began!
