I started doing than a while back when my wallet got too fat . Medical providers and my 2 local libraries scan the picture of my cards.

Many Insurance companies will let you download their app, but having a picture on your phone is better, especially if WiFi isn’t easily available when you need it.

A great permanent improvement.
